Updating Patient Records

You can update existing patient records in PharmaClik Rx by using the PrescribeIT® Patient Compare feature.

Patients that have been previously synchronized will no longer appear in bold when a new transaction is received from PrescribeIT®.

To compare already synchronized patient folder records with the patient information received from the PrescribeIT® Registry:

  1. From the PrescribeIT® To Do tab, highlight a transaction and select the Process button. The New Prescription window opens.

  2. Select the expand icon next to the Patient field. The Patient Search window opens.

  3. Search for and select the correct patient. The Patient folder opens.

  4. Select the Compare button.

    The PrescribeIT® Patient Compare window opens.

  5. Under the PrescribeIT® section, highlight the rows you want to copy over.

  6. Select the icon. Highlighted information will be copied to the PharmaClik Rx section.

  7. Under the Clinical Information section, select the Add button and use existing functionality to enter allergies and medical conditions in PharmaClik Rx.

  8. Select OK.

    Result: The synchronized information is saved in the Patient folder of PharmaClik Rx.
